RED CARPET FLASHBACK! ‘FINDING NEMO’ PREMIERE IN 2003.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 13 years since Finding Nemo, the Pixar adventure about a couple of clownfish and their forgetful friend Dory, hit theaters. With the sequel Finding Dory set to hit theaters this weekend, we thought we’d take a look back to the first premiere in Los Angeles on May 18, 2003.

Ellen DeGeneres

The Ellen star was cast as the forgetful blue tang Dory in Finding Nemo during a career slump after coming out on her sitcom several years prior. Her hit talk show launched the following September and is now heading into its 14th season.(Photo: Steve Granitz/WireImage)
